Hetzner Server

The host server comes with 2TB of NVME storage. To host Meall an Óige backup files, we're using 256GB of the host server's storage on top of the 32GB to host the TrueNAS Server.

Backup Storage Box

We are renting a 10TB Storage box from Hetzner which could be used to store backup files. The downside of the storage box is that the write speeds within the Hezner network are only around 100mb/s. You can find out more about the storage box in the Hardware

Private/Local Storage NAS Server

We are planning on setting up a local NAS Server in the ABAIR lab. This will hopefully allow us to connect to the local server directly through the local network, allowing very fast read/write speeds. (05th August 2025)
